A Cartoon in its Infancy

PictureGary Larson (The Far Side) wrote something like, ‘When a cartoonist is working, it looks a lot like s/he is just goofing around.’ Or it can look like the cartoonist is working at their “regular” job or doing a myriad of other tasks, but they are actually writing and revising in their head. That’s how a lot of my writing is done. I’ve been overwhelmed by work and the upcoming election, but it’s all grist for the mill. To the left is a cartoon idea that may or may not be the basis for my next Union Action cartoon. I did it on BART in my teenie tiny sketchbook.
